On October 31st, 2009 we had our very first Fall Festival here at Camp Gilgal. It was so much fun and the people were just so excited. We played lots of games outside and then moved into the tabernacle to enjoy songs and dramas each church had prepared. We had about 250 people here so the tabernacle was overflowing. It's a good problem to have, but we already see the need to expand our tabernacle in the near future. After the dramas one of the local pastors preached and he did a wonderful job talking about the evils of Halloween, he had even prepared a power point presentation to go along with it. He challenged the parents and the children and then had them all gather together to pray for God's wisdom and guidance. After the service we ate hot dogs and roasted marshmallows around the camp fire. It was a great day in the Lord!
